K2 Concepts took form during an innocent mentoring session.  John Kavanagh and Karen Thomas were grooming her dogs.  In the process she asked John what he was using on their coats and why.  John replied with a grin, “I mix a new concoction every week…just like I’ve done for 40 years.”  With that comment the spark was ignited.  Karen immediately produced a clipboard and began taking notes on the individual ingredients in each product of John’s “concoctions.”  
Karen put her background in chemistry and finance to work.  She was back to John’s kennel the next week with charts and comparisons of each individual component of John’s formulas.  She standardized and analyzed each ingredient, developed rigid testing and controls that consistently reproduced a superior product. 

It was just the right time for The Right Stuff.

All products have been human tested for safety. 
Final trials have been tested in the ring.
